Norwich Astronomical Society

	Set in rural Norfolk, the home of the NAS; the Seething observatory, enjoys the tranquillity of the countryside along with stunning dark skies.
	The observatory facilities include three permanent, domed telescopes and a number of other excellent facilities that will aid in your enjoyment of astronomy.

Membership to the NAS is open to everyone from child to senior citizen; from complete beginner to the advanced amateur.

Whoever you are, you will find the society to be fun, welcoming and a relaxed place that will positively enhance your enjoyment of the night sky.

	Throughout the year the NAS hold a number of special public events.
	At these events you will get the chance to look around at the Observatory facilities and, if the sky is clear, you will be able to look through some of our telescopes. You will also be able to sit back and relax whilst one of our experienced lecturers takes you through an illustrated presentation of one of the many fascinating aspects of the Universe and practical astronomy.
